The El Cerrito Art Association will present photographer Elaine Miller
Bond on October 14 at 7:00 pm in the Garden Room of the El Cerrito Community Center, 7007 Moeser Lane.

A local photographer and writer, the theme of her talk will be, “How I stay inspired, How one photo I took in Point Reyes led to a children’s book and How I learned the craft of photography by spending 3 months snapping pictures of prairie dogs in the wild”.

Beginning as a senior science writer for the University of California Natural Reserve System, Bond now works independently. She has published several children’s books and continues to search the creeks for newts and follow the paw prints of the coyotes.

The evening begins at 7:00 pm with social time and a “mini art show”
of members’ work. A brief business meeting is held at 7:30, followed by the
speaker.

El Cerrito Art Association meetings are free and open to the public, and visitors and new members are always welcome. For further information about this program, see www.elcerritoart.org, or email [email protected].

The Community Center is handicapped-accessible.
